Willis & Associates Consulting is a strategic advisory firm and professional services ecosystem dedicated to helping organizations build strong foundations, maintain regulatory compliance, and achieve sustainable growth. We partner with higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and emerging entrepreneurs to transform ideas into well-managed, fundable, and scalable operations.

Founded in 2017, Willis & Associates was established to address a common need across sectors: organizations doing meaningful work without the internal capacity, systems, or expertise required to manage growth, funding, and compliance effectively. Since then, we have supported clients at every stage—from concept development to long-term operational sustainability.

Our work is grounded in a collaborative, solutions-driven approach. We partner with experienced subject matter experts and bring that expertise together through one trusted consulting team. Willis & Associates is especially recognized for its work with higher education institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). We provide comprehensive support for externally funded grants and contracts, including pre-award and post-award services, federal compliance, external evaluations/project assessment, audit readiness, internal controls, policy and procedure development, strategic planning, and Title III implementation and endowment administration support. For entrepreneurs and new organizations, we offer startup documentation support, tax-exemption application assistance, and strategic planning services designed to position new ventures for long-term success.
